Juice Cleanse, Day 28
Wow- 28 days down, 2 to go. I can’t even believe we’ve made it this far. The amount that we’ve learned about not just our bodies- but ourselves as well, is absolutely unimaginable.
Hard food seems to be something of the past, and Bryan and I have established a great routine that’s made it easy not to be tempted by food anymore.
Do we miss food?
Yes of course! But our bodies have gotten used to juicing now and we don’t crave it anymore.
My Glowing Skin
I’d say my favorite improvement from this cleanse has been my skin. I grew up with TERRIBLE acne prone skin and I’ve literally struggled with it my whole life. Zits, scars, black heads everything - for 25 years.
If I had known a juice fast would clear it up, I would have done this a long time ago. I didn’t realize how much what I was eating was affecting my skin in a negative way. You can BET I’m going to change my diet immediately after the cleanse is over. I’ve got great skin now and I intend on keeping it!
Yesterday at one of my promotions for work, my coworker actually noticed the difference in my skin and said it looked so clear. I don’t think anyyoonneeee has ever complimented my skin before, that was a big moment for me.

Orange butternut Delight
1 whole butternut squash
1 bag of carrots
1 yellow squash
2 inches of ginger
The end of this juice cleanse is so close, I can almost taste the solid food now!

Being a vegetarian for 25 years, I literally get asked this question almost every day.

Breakfast is the #1 important meal of the day! By that I don’t mean a sugary bowl of processed cereal, or a white bagel with 10 gallons of cream cheese on it.
Oatmeal is great, it keeps you full for a long time and is packed with good stuff your body needs.
Eggs are also a wonderful way to start off your day. Full of protein, and are a great way you can sneak in some extra veggies too :)
Then of course my favorite- SMOOTHIES!!
Smoothies are great because you can blend up all your favorite fruits and veggies and sneak them into your day. Nutrients and vitamins galore.
